Laurel Touby is a former business journalist, exited tech CEO and the founding partner at Supernode Ventures.

Supernode Ventures Fund I focused on pre-seed/seed stage tech startups across sectors ranging from FinTech and Healthcare to eCommerce and Supply Chain tech. Supernode’s Fund I portfolio companies include: Braze (IPOd in 2021), BBOT ($100 mm exit), Electric.ai, Covalto (FKA Credijusto), DeepScribe.ai, Habi.co, Levels Health, Passport Shipping, OnTop.ai, Nirvana Health and others.

Prior to Supernode Ventures, Laurel founded mediabistro.com in 1996, an online pioneer that revolutionized the way people in the media industry do business, connect and communicate. Laurel remains actively engaged with the media via her popular Tech Media Dinner & Discussion events. Following the sale of mediabistro.com, Laurel began angel investing.

Laurel lives in a loft in the heart of Silicon Alley and is married to Jon Fine, book author and former Editor in Chief of Inc. Magazine.

Jenny is co-founder of Four Acres Capital. She is a former Partner of Supernode Ventures.

Prior to Supernode, Jenny worked at Eniac Ventures, where she focused primarily on seed stage investments in mobile-first technology. Jenny also spent time in an operational role at Minibar Delivery, an e-commerce startup, focusing on data analytics and business development. She worked as a financial professional at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Management Division.

Jenny was selected as “Venture Capital’s 40 Under 40 Rising Stars" in Venture Capital Journal and awarded “40 Under 40” by YJP. She serves as an advisor to Mount Sinai Innovation Partners and is a member of Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital Alumni Association.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Business School. Jenny was born and raised in New York City.
